How To Manage Your Oily SkinOily Skin Type

If your skin is shiny, and has enlarged pores you have an oily skin type. Most of the time blackheads, whiteheads, pimples and other blemishes are seen because of the overactive sebaceous glands that produces more oil than normal. The severity of your oily skin can depend on different factors like:

– Stress
– Hormonal imbalances
– Time of year (Where in summer oily skin will be worse than winter.)

To manage your oily skin, make sure to do the following:

  • Wash your skin with a gentle facial wash twice day (morning and evening). Do not overdo washing your face to prevent losing essential oils as this will lead to a dry and irritated skin.
  • Apply a clarifying toner after washing your face.
  • Avoid squeezing or picking pimples.

There are different skin care products available in the market that will help you with your oily skin.
